How to boot Windows 8 into safe mode
Microsoft as made booting into safe mode in Windows 8 a little easier than the conventional way of pressing F8 at startup in earlier versions of windows Operating Systems.Windows 8 as been built to run its booting options right from the settings area in Windows 8.
Windows 8 is designed to be very sleek and flexible, but yet it can be very confusing getting around some basic functionalities of the OS.
So to run or boot windows 8 in “Safe Mode”, these are the simple steps you need to follow:
v Point or swipe your mouse pointer to the top right edge of your screen from desktop mode, Now you should see the “Settings” icon as shown in Fig 1, click on it.
v Now click on “Change Pc Settings” below as shown in Fig 2, this will take you to the pc settings display screen.
v Now click on “General”, then scroll down to “Advance Startup” to click on the “Restart now” button.see Fig 3.
v Now your system will restart and ask you to choose some system options as seen Fig 4 below. Click the “Troubleshoot” icon to use advance tools.
v Now you should see the troubleshoot display screen and options list. Click on “Advanced Options”.see Fig 5.
v Now you should see the Advanced options display screen and options. Click on “Startup Settings”to change windows startup behavior. See Fig 6.
v Now the startup settings display screen shows up. Click on the “Restart” button to change windows options, such as:
§ Enable low resolution video mode
§ Enable debugging mode
§ Enable safe mode
§ Disable driver signature enforcement
§ Disable early-lunch anti-malware protection
§ Disable automatic restart on system failure
Now you should see the startup settings display options, use (F1–F9) on your keyboard to choose your option of choice, as seen Fig 8 below.
